The West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce actively promotes the positive contribution of women in business.
Statistics from the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) have shown that almost half of Chambers within its network have teams which are 70% female. Just under 40% of Chamber CEO’s are also female. The West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is a group of three Chambers (Bradford, Leeds and York & North Yorkshire). Currently, our Bradford Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer are both female.
Ahead of International Women’s Day 2022 which took place on 8 March, the West & North Yorkshire Chamber collaborated with women across its network to inspire the next generation of budding female leaders, celebrate the achievements of women in business, help break down stereotypes and prevent discrimination in the workplace.
