North’s largest environmental event returns

The ECO FAIR is back this June to give companies the chance to showcase their environmental products and services to a regional audience. The event will focus on helping visitors save money and make environmental improvements.

Now in its sixth year ECO FAIR is the largest B2B environmental event in the north of England and takes place on Thursday 18th June from 8.30am to 4pm at Leeds United Football Club.

The event, organised by West & North Yorkshire Chamber and a number of partners, will include 3 themed exhibition zones:  materials and water, energy and renewables, and property and people. This is complemented by a series of seminars providing technical advice and highlighting best practice.

Sandy Needham, chief executive of West & North Yorkshire Chamber said: “This event has gained in momentum over the years and we are expecting around 1,000 delegates this year.  Last year 81% of stand holders made additional sales by exhibiting at the ECO FAIR. It’s definitely the place to be if you are interested buying or selling environmental products or services.”

Caroline Wherritt of Re:Work, an office furniture recycling business in Leeds, said last year’s event gave great exposure to her business and Lizzie Dealey from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust said one of the most helpful things was meeting people “who are eco-minded”.

Exhibition stands at ECO FAIR begin at £495 plus VAT for West & North Yorkshire Chamber members and £595 plus VAT for non-members.  Full details are available at www.eco-fair.co.uk or by calling 01274 206660.

Anyone interested in attending as a delegate can also register on the website. Delegate places are free.
