The Core Strategy was adopted by Leeds City Council on 12th November 2014.
The Core Strategy sets out the strategic policy framework for the district to 2028 and comprises a long-term spatial vision and strategic objectives, a spatial strategy, thematic policies and a monitoring and implementation framework, with clear objectives for achieving its delivery.
Any person who is aggrieved by the adoption of the Core Strategy may make an application to the High Court under Section 113 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on the ground that:
(a) the document is not within the appropriate power;
(b) a procedural requirement has not been complied with.
Any application to the High Court must be made not later than 23rd December 2014, this being the end of the period of six weeks starting with the date on which the Plan was adopted.
