Gyles Brandreth returns for York Chamber Dinner

York & North Yorkshire Chamber is inviting the region’s businesses to its Annual Dinner this month. The event which takes place on Thursday 26th March at the National Railway Museum is one of York & North Yorkshire’s most prestigious events attracting over 500 of the region’s business people. York & North Yorkshire Chamber is part of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber’s popular black-tie event is a chance for local businesses to entertain guests and network with the area’s business leaders. Back as guest speaker for the Chamber this year is Gyles Brandreth.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????Gyles is a writer, broadcaster, former MP and Government Whip – and one of Britain’s most sought-after after-dinner speakers. A reporter on The One Show on BBC1 and a regular on Radio 4’s Just a Minute, his many books include The Oscar Wilde Murder Mysteries and the No 1 best-seller: The 7 Secrets of Happiness.

York & North Yorkshire Chamber President, Suzanne Burnett will welcome guests at the Dinner. She commented: “We’re looking forward to seeing Gyles again this year. He’s an excellent speaker with a colourful history, so we are sure to be entertained.”

She added: “This year we’re also holding a prize draw to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice. We’re hoping guests will dig deep for some of the great prizes on offer.”
