– Expectations that turnover will increase in months to come remains high; companies in York reported a small
improvement following last quarter’s decline; Bradford reported confidence at its highest since the recession – is the
‘Westfield effect’ having an impact? Leeds recorded a sixth consecutive quarter of a decade-long peak.
– Companies in Bradford and York are less confident about increasing profits over the next 12 months than they are about turnover; In Leeds, confidence remains at record levels.
