Following the independence referendum in Scotland and commitments made to the Scottish Parliament, all the major political parties have agreed to discussions around decentralisation and devolution for the English regions.
The Chamber believes that this is a once in a generation opportunity to create more powerful economies outside of the capital. Following consultation with members the Chamber has produced its requests from businesses for any agreed settlement; the full document can be downloaded here.
