Leeds Waterfront

Leeds - A waterfront city?

Whilst the environment around the Leeds Waterfront area has improved over the last quarter of a century, especially in terms of water quality, it remains a largely under-utilised asset, disconnected from much of the city centre.

This report (published in 2017) sets out the Chamber’s views on how we can celebrate the waterfront, taking pleasure in its existence and maximising the economic benefits such infrastructure can bring to Leeds. The document is intended to renew interest, drive ambition for change, and deliver a waterside in the city centre that meets developing economic and social needs.

The Leeds Waterfront Report was produced with the support of our sponsors.
