Part of the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, the Business Enterprise Fund (BEF) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that provides flexible finance to SMEs located throughout the North of England.
BEF provides loans from £500 to £150,000 to start-up and existing businesses in all sectors across West and North Yorkshire. As an official delivery partner for the government-backed Start Up Loans Company, BEF delivers finance and support to help young businesses start and grow.
In the past year, BEF lent £8.8m to 399 clients, helped launch 179 new businesses, and helped create or safeguard 985 UK-based jobs.
